Audubon Adventures. Audubon Adventures is an environmental education program for children in grades 3 to 5. Developed by professional environmental educators, Audubon Adventures presents basic, scientifically accurate facts about birds, wildlife, and their habitats. It consists of a Classroom Kit (serving 32 students) and a teaching guide. The program is used by classroom teachers, after-school program coordinators, special education instructors, language arts teachers and homeschoolers. MVAS has consistently provided 80+ kits each year to classrooms in Dona Ana, Sierra and Otero counties. We have also provided a New Mexico supplement for the past 6 years covering wildlife unique to NM including burrowing owls, salamanders and hummingbirds.

MVAS would like to thank the following for their generous donations: Mrs. Mary Beth Reinhard, Desert Daubers Garden Club, Las Cruces Tour of Gardens, Hi Hopes Garden Club, Charles Osgood and Fern Allan. We also thank Ruth Wiser, Mary Williams, Tim & Diane Lawton, Walter Kazmier, Sue & Wally Hill, Eleanor Wootten and Citizens Bank. Thanks to Nancy Stotz, Helga & Abe Mendoza and Daisan and Mark Glass.
